Web Scraping Specialist – Python / Scrapy / Playwright

Paris OR Lyon (Hybrid with up to 50% wfh)

50K€–60K€ depending on experience

We’re working with a fast-growing SaaS scale-up in the logistics & supply chain space. Their platform helps major international players gain real-time visibility on global shipments using advanced data and AI.

Freshly funded and scaling fast, they're now expanding their engineering team to boost their web data extraction capabilities.

 

👩‍💻 The Role

You’ll join a dedicated scraping squad focused on building smart, reliable data pipelines to extract and structure critical information from external sources.

🛠️ What you’ll do:

  • Build scrapers with Python, Scrapy, and Playwright
  • Handle dynamic websites and anti-bot protections (CAPTCHAs, proxies, fingerprinting)
  • Optimize and scale scraping workflows
  • Parse and clean structured data from complex sources
  • Maintain and monitor scraper performance
  • Collaborate in cross-team tech events and workshops

 

🎯 What We're Looking For

  • Solid experience with Python + scraping frameworks (Scrapy, Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS selectors, XPath, and regex
  • Confident working with headless browsers, proxies, and anti-bot strategies
  • Experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Bonus: Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS
