SaaS Business Development Manager - Analytics and Data as a Service
Hybrid, with ideally 1 x day a week at their head office

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the growth of their analytics and "data as a service" offering and have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from startups to enterprises.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure the successful delivery of our solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to identify emerging opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of our SaaS offerings.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the SaaS industry, preferably with a focus on Data or Analytics or Cloud technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop actionable plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving results.
